Lavender to the Rescue!

Welcome to my blog, The Spoils of Oils! All about my experiences with essential oils. I am new to using them but I wanted to share stories and experiences that I have found to be amazing so far. I am a mother to an 8 month old boy. He is such a good baby. Since he was born he has been so easy going and a wonderful joy for our family. The past few weeks he has been super fussy though. I tried just about everything but it didn't really seem to help. Sure, I could load him up on infant Tylenol, but who wants that for their little one. Who knows what kind of stuff is in that. I remembered that I was given a sample of lavender essential oil and I decided to give it a try.

I was pretty sure he was teething so I rubbed some diluted lavender on his jawline and some on his feet to help calm him. Within just a few minutes my baby was back to him calm self. I was amazed! And sold on these oils!

The thing I love about essential oils is how safe they are for my little one. I know that these oils are all natural from the green earth God gave us. Why wouldn't they work? They smell so good and work so quickly. Lavender has been my go to oil when it comes to help my baby stay calm. It is so wonderful for a teething baby.

Other Uses for Lavender:

  • Use for its calming and relaxing qualities
  • Soothes occasional skin irritations
  • Helps skin recover quickly
  • Eases muscle tension
  • Calms bee stings
  • Supports restful sleep and breathing
